What is the course about?

The course is about guiding you along the path to writing a creative piece.

Are you completing a course for senior study that requires you to complete a creative writing piece? Do you find that you have the ideas, but are not sure how to express yourself clearly and in an engaging manner? Then this is the course for you.

Each week, you will complete writing activities based on the principles of narrative writing including figurative language, setting, characterisation, voice, conflicts and themes, plot, structure and point of view.

The main writing strategy is free writing, a process where you write continuously for an allocated amount of time, without concern for spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
